The Association of Intelligent Engineering and Technology (AIET) officially announced that the nomination channel for the 2026 Excellence Awards has recently opened. The 2026 selection covers four categories: the Outstanding Contribution Award, Innovation Achievement Award, Young Engineer Award, and International Cooperation Award. Nominations are invited from individuals, teams, and institutions worldwide in intelligent engineering and technology.

On the basis of continuing previous selection standards, the 2026 award selection has optimized and adjusted some review details. The Outstanding Contribution Award focuses on recognizing senior experts who have continuously made important contributions in intelligent engineering and technology, and candidates must have more than ten years of continuous research or practice experience in relevant fields. The Innovation Achievement Award is for individuals or teams that have achieved significant results in technological innovation and application breakthroughs, with emphasis on the originality and practical application value of outcomes. The Young Engineer Award is for young researchers under the age of 40 who demonstrate outstanding research potential in intelligent engineering. The International Cooperation Award recognizes individuals or institutions that have made important contributions to promoting cross-regional academic cooperation.

The 2026 selection continues to use a dual-channel nomination method combining self-nomination and recommendation. Self-nominations are submitted directly to the Association by candidates themselves, while recommended nominations may be submitted on behalf of candidates by AIET members, appointees, review experts, or representatives of partner institutions. All nomination materials must include the candidate CV, achievement list, brief description of core achievements, and reasons for recommendation.

After nomination materials pass the formal examination by the Association Secretariat, they will enter the three-round review process of the independent review expert panel. The preliminary review is independently completed by review groups in each field to conduct initial evaluation of candidate qualifications and achievements. The second review is conducted by a cross-field review committee for comprehensive comparative deliberation. The final review is chaired by the Academic Committee for final determination. All review stages strictly implement the conflict-of-interest avoidance system to ensure fairness and professionalism of review results.

Individuals or institutions interested in participating in nomination may send an email to the official mailbox of the Association Secretariat at info@aiet.org.cn with "2026 Award Nomination" in the subject line to obtain the official nomination form and detailed participation guidelines. The Association Secretariat will reply within two business days after receiving the email. After the 2026 award nomination intake, the process will proceed through eligibility screening, expert review, and final review in sequence. The final award results are planned to be announced through official Association channels after the December 2026 award ceremony.
