About the Appointment System
智能工程与科技协会特聘职衔体系成立于2019年，是AIET荣誉与参与体系的核心组成部分。体系的设立旨在通过正式的职衔委任机制，表彰在智能工程与科技领域作出突出贡献的专家学者，并为受聘人员提供具有国际公信力的学术身份认可。The honorary appointment system of the Association of Intelligent Engineering and Technology was established in 2019 and is a core component of AIET's honours and engagement framework. It was created to recognize experts and scholars who have made outstanding contributions in intelligent engineering and technology through a formal appointment mechanism, while providing appointees with academic identity recognition carrying international credibility.
AIET特聘职衔体系严格遵循学术独立性原则，所有职衔委任均须经过独立评审委员会的资质审核及理事会的正式批准，确保每一位受聘者均符合相应职衔的资质标准。受聘者在任期内须履行相应职务职责，对协会年度学术方向具有建议权，其意见经理事会审议后纳入协会年度工作计划。The AIET honorary appointment system strictly follows the principle of academic independence. All appointments must pass qualification review by an independent review committee and receive formal approval from the Council, ensuring that every appointee meets the qualification standards for the corresponding title. During the term of appointment, appointees must fulfill the corresponding duties and responsibilities and have the right to make recommendations on the Association's annual academic direction; their opinions, after Council review, are incorporated into the Association's annual work plan.

Roles & Responsibilities
AIET特聘职衔体系强调实质性职务参与，每一个职衔均对应明确的职责范围与年度履职义务。这一设计确保特聘职衔不仅是荣誉性的身份认可，更是协会学术治理与运营体系的重要组成部分。受聘者通过履行职务责任，对协会的学术发展产生真实而持续的影响。The AIET honorary appointment system emphasizes substantive participation in official duties. Each title corresponds to a clear scope of responsibilities and annual performance obligations. This design ensures that honorary appointments are not merely honorary identity recognition, but also an important part of the Association's academic governance and operational system. By fulfilling their duties, appointees exert real and sustained influence on the Association's academic development.
特聘研究员是AIET学术研究体系的核心参与者，主要职责包括：参与协会年度课题成果的同行评审工作，为提交评审的研究成果提供专业学术意见；定期向协会提交所在领域的研究报告或行业观察，为协会学术成果产出作出贡献；参与协会学术委员会召集的专题研讨，就智能工程与科技领域的前沿议题分享专业见解。Honorary Research Fellows are core participants in AIET's academic research system. Their main responsibilities include participating in peer review of the Association's annual research outcomes and providing professional academic opinions on submitted research results; regularly submitting research reports or industry observations in their fields to contribute to the Association's academic output; and participating in thematic seminars convened by the Academic Committee to share professional insights on frontier issues in intelligent engineering and technology.
特聘顾问是协会战略决策的重要咨询来源，主要职责包括：为协会在学术发展方向、国际合作策略及荣誉体系建设等重大事项上提供专业咨询意见；出席协会顾问委员会议，就协会面临的战略挑战与发展机遇提供建议；协助协会拓展与所在领域或机构的联络与合作关系。Honorary Advisors are an important source of consultation for the Association's strategic decision-making. Their main responsibilities include providing professional consultation on major matters such as academic development direction, international cooperation strategy, and honour system development; attending meetings of the Association's advisory committee and providing recommendations on strategic challenges and development opportunities; and assisting the Association in expanding connections and cooperation with their fields or institutions.
荣誉大使是AIET国际影响力拓展的重要推动力量，主要职责包括：代表协会出席所在地区的国际学术活动，向当地学术界及行业人士介绍AIET的使命、业务及荣誉体系；协助协会在所在地区识别潜在合作机构、优秀人才及行业资源；定期向秘书处反馈所在地区的学术生态动态，为协会国际合作策略提供一线信息支持。Honorary Ambassadors are an important driving force for expanding AIET's international influence. Their main responsibilities include representing the Association at international academic activities in their regions and introducing AIET's mission, services, and honour system to local academic and industry communities; assisting the Association in identifying potential partner institutions, outstanding talent, and industry resources in their regions; and regularly reporting regional academic ecosystem developments to the Secretariat to provide first-hand information support for the Association's international cooperation strategy.
学术委员是协会最高学术权力机构的核心成员，主要职责包括：参与制定和修订协会学术标准，确保评审体系持续符合国际学术规范；对协会年度白皮书及优秀课题成果进行学术质量审核，出具正式评审意见；参与协会学术委员会例会，就协会整体学术发展方向提出建议，所提意见经理事会审议后纳入协会年度学术计划。Academic Committee Members are core members of the Association's highest academic authority. Their main responsibilities include participating in the formulation and revision of the Association's academic standards to ensure that the review system continuously conforms to international academic norms; conducting academic quality reviews of the Association's annual white papers and outstanding research outcomes and issuing formal review opinions; and participating in regular Academic Committee meetings to provide recommendations on the Association's overall academic development direction, with those recommendations incorporated into the annual academic plan after Council review.
学术委员对协会年度学术方向具有建议权，其意见经理事会审议后正式纳入协会年度工作计划，是协会学术治理体系中最具实质影响力的职衔类别。Academic Committee Members have the right to make recommendations on the Association's annual academic direction. Their opinions are formally incorporated into the Association's annual work plan after Council review, making this the appointment category with the most substantive influence in the Association's academic governance system.
Eligibility Criteria
申请AIET特聘职衔的候选人须满足以下基本条件：Candidates applying for AIET honorary appointments must meet the following basic conditions:
所有申请材料由AIET独立评审委员会进行初步审核，评审委员会成员须与申请人无利益冲突关系。初审通过后，申请材料将提交独立评审委员会进行专业资质评估，最终由理事会批准委任。整个评审过程通常需要4至6周，协会将通过邮件方式告知申请人评审结果。All application materials are preliminarily reviewed by the AIET independent review committee, and review committee members must have no conflict of interest with the applicant. After the preliminary review is passed, the application materials are submitted to the independent review committee for professional qualification assessment, and final appointment approval is granted by the Council. The entire review process usually takes four to six weeks, and the Association will notify applicants of the review result by email.

Nomination / Self-Application
候选人可通过两种方式进入评审流程：由现任AIET特聘委员、理事会成员或合作机构代表提名，或通过官网申请通道进行自荐。提名或自荐须附上候选人的学术简历、代表性成果清单及推荐信（如适用）。Candidates may enter the review process in two ways: nomination by a current AIET appointee, Council member, or representative of a partner institution, or self-recommendation through the application channel on the official website. A nomination or self-recommendation must include the candidate's academic CV, a list of representative achievements, and recommendation letters where applicable.
Initial Screening
秘书处对提交的申请材料进行完整性核查及基本资质初审，确认申请人满足所申请职衔的通用资格要求。初审通常在收到完整申请材料后的5个工作日内完成，初审未通过者将收到书面说明。The Secretariat checks submitted application materials for completeness and conducts a preliminary review of basic qualifications to confirm that the applicant meets the general qualification requirements for the applied appointment category. The preliminary review is usually completed within five business days after complete application materials are received; applicants who do not pass will receive a written explanation.
Review Committee Assessment
通过初审的申请材料将转交独立评审委员会进行专业资质评估。评审委员会将对申请人的学术背景、研究成果、行业地位及履职能力进行综合评估，并出具书面评审意见。此阶段通常需要2至3周。Application materials that pass the preliminary review are transferred to the independent review committee for professional qualification assessment. The review committee conducts a comprehensive assessment of the applicant's academic background, research achievements, industry standing, and ability to fulfill duties, and issues written review comments. This stage usually takes two to three weeks.
Board Approval
评审委员会出具正面评审意见后，申请材料将提交理事会进行最终审议。理事会在季度例会上对候选人名单进行集体审议，以多数通过原则决定是否批准委任。After the review committee issues a positive review opinion, the application materials are submitted to the Council for final deliberation. At its quarterly meeting, the Council collectively reviews the list of candidates and decides whether to approve the appointment based on majority approval.
Official Appointment
理事会批准后，协会秘书处将向受聘人发出正式委任通知，并安排委任仪式。受聘人将收到由AIET正式签发、加盖协会印章的委任证书，证书注明职衔名称、任期及协会授权签署人信息。任期通常为两年，期满后可申请续任。After Council approval, the Association Secretariat issues a formal appointment notice to the appointee and arranges an appointment ceremony. The appointee receives an appointment certificate formally issued by AIET and bearing the Association's seal. The certificate states the appointment title, term, and information on the Association's authorized signatory. The term is usually two years, and renewal may be applied for upon expiration.
Appointment Ceremony
AIET每年举办正式委任仪式，向当批次获委任的特聘职衔人员颁发委任证书。仪式通常结合协会年度学术活动举行，由协会理事长或秘书长主持。受聘人将在仪式上正式宣读履职承诺，并接受协会颁发的正式委任证书。如受聘人无法亲身出席，协会将通过邮寄方式寄送委任证书，并保留仪式的正式记录文件。AIET holds a formal appointment ceremony each year to present appointment certificates to the honorary appointees of that batch. The ceremony is usually held in conjunction with the Association's annual academic activities and is presided over by the President or Secretary-General of the Association. Appointees formally read their duty commitments at the ceremony and receive official appointment certificates issued by the Association. If an appointee is unable to attend in person, the Association will send the appointment certificate by mail and retain formal record documents of the ceremony.

发送邮件至Send an email to info@aiet.org.cn，说明您的申请意向及拟申请的职衔类别，秘书处将在两个工作日内回复。, explaining your application intent and the appointment category you plan to apply for. The Secretariat will reply within two business days.
秘书处将向您发送正式申请表格、申请须知及所需提交材料清单。The Secretariat will send you the official application form, application instructions, and a list of required materials.
填写完整申请表格，连同学术简历、代表性成果及推荐人信息一并通过邮件提交。Complete the application form and submit it by email together with your academic CV, representative achievements, and recommender information.
协会评审委员会完成资质评审后，将通过邮件通知评审结果及后续委任事宜。After the Association's review committee completes the qualification review, the review result and subsequent appointment matters will be communicated by email.
